The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nominated Supervisor to lead our beautiful Castle Hill Crane Road Montessori Academy
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader who enjoys mentoring educators, building strong relationships with families, and driving a culture of excellence in early childhood education.

As the Nominated Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of exceptional education and care while maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework. You'll lead and inspire a team of educators, foster a positive workplace culture, and support the ongoing growth and success of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and support a team of Early Childhood Educators and Teachers.
  • Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children, staff and visitors.
  • Act as the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) when required.
  • Ensure the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.
  • Support educators in implementing high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and Montessori Curriculum.
  • Drive a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
  • Oversee centre operations including staffing, compliance, administration and occupancy growth.
  • Support Assessment and Rating readiness and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider management team to achieve centre and organisational goals.
About You

You will be an experienced childcare leader who is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional outcomes for children, and creating a positive centre culture.

You also have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing an early childhood education and care service.
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved), or currently working towards.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, National Quality Standard and EYLF.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Sound business and operational management experience.
  • Passion for high-quality early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.
