Kiddie Academy of Lutz is preparing for our exciting grand opening this October and is seeking an experienced and passionate VPK Lead Teacher to join our founding team.
We are looking for a dedicated early childhood educator who is committed to creating a strong educational foundation for preschool children through engaging instruction, classroom leadership, and meaningful family partnerships.

Position SummaryThe VPK Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate Voluntary Prekindergarten program aligned with Florida VPK standards and Kiddie Academy curriculum expectations. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, nurturing, and experienced in preparing children for kindergarten success.
Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of preschool or VPK teaching experience required
- Completion of Florida DCF 45 Hour Training required
- Florida Staff Credential required
- CDA, FCCPC, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education highly preferred
- Knowledge of Florida VPK standards and kindergarten readiness expectations
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet all Florida licensing requirements for a VPK instructional position
- Plan and implement engaging VPK curriculum and lesson plans
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress and developmental milestones
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
- Prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for kindergarten
- Maintain compliance with Florida licensing and VPK requirements
