Assistant Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Assistant Director to join our vibrant early childhood education community at Kiddie Academy of Lutz. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, support curriculum development, and ensure the highest standards of educational excellence and compliance. • Lead and supervise preschool staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in early childhood education.
• Oversee curriculum development initiatives aligned with best practices in childhood development and early education standards, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Manage school operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and special education law.
• Facilitate professional development sessions for staff to promote instructional leadership, instructional strategies, and ongoing educational growth.
• Coordinate fundraising efforts and community engagement activities to support school programs and enhance resources for students.
• Ensure adherence to educational policies, legal requirements, health and safety standards, and accreditation criteria while maintaining a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
• Lead strategic planning initiatives to advance school goals, improve operational efficiency, and expand educational offerings.

• CDA and Director Credentials REQUIRED
• Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and educational compliance regulations a strong knowledge of PROCARES and CARES and Tadpoles.
• Strong management skills with demonstrated success in supervising personnel and managing budgets at an executive level within educational institutions.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements with staff, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating professional development programs for educators in school environments.
• Background in managing school legal issues related to early childhood education policies and regulations.
