Responsibilities- The Career Development Program Manager is responsible for the continued development of a system of career advising and career development for College of Medicine medical students.
- Responsibilities include meeting with students individually, large group instruction/presentations, maintaining career website, ensuring a cohesive advising plan across all campuses and across all four years of medical education.
- Responsible for staying current on best practices for medical career advising and informing stakeholders of national trends and accreditation standards related to career advising and development.
- As a member of the Division of Student Affairs & Admissions (DSAA), provides some support for DSAA events. Travel required, as needed.
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (
Note:
post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
Florida or Georgia Driver's License, or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
