Island Kids is hiring!

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and EXPERIENCED Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our team.

• CDA, teaching credential, or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool and/or pre-kindergarten children.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Ability to create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning activities.
• Ability to maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and coworkers.
• Patience, compassion, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Ability to observe and document children's development and progress.
• Understanding of classroom management and positive guidance techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
• Must meet all applicable state and childcare licensing requirements, including required background screening, health/safety training, and certifications.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required as applicable.
• Professional, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $35,360.00 - $41,600.00 per year
