General Purpose of Job
Responsible for enforcement of foreign attachment agreements, joint-use billing and vendor communication to ensure permit and removal requests are processed properly. Maintain correct attachment counts, process recorded easements for GIS representation, maintain approved municipal annexations for tax code accuracy in GIS, and upkeep feeder maps and circuit modeling exports.
Responsibilities- Enforce foreign attachment agreements and manage joint-use billing.
- Communicate with vendors to process permit and removal requests.
- Maintain accurate attachment counts.
- Process recorded easements and represent them in GIS.
- Maintain approved municipal annexations for correct tax code representation.
- Maintain feeder maps and export circuit modeling data.
- Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum: 2–4 years working in a GIS environment with mapping responsibilities.
- Preferred:
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, GE Small world, AutoCAD, FME, SQL and electric utility or related industry. - Preferred:
Advanced degree in GIS, geography, engineering or information technology.
- Ability to operate office equipment (PC, printers, copy machines, telephone).
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and be on short notice during emergencies.
- Compliance with background check, physical and drug screen.
- Work schedule:
8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
