The ideal candidate will:

• Support all new gas projects
• Manage gas BOS - steel, breakers, switch gear, transformers, metering, instrument transformers
• Include weekly touch points with suppliers
• Coordinate with projects manager/construction managers
• Factory monitoring/FAT coordination
• Shipping and delivery logistics

This role develops and refines defined category strategies for critical and/or more complex categories. Employees in this role lead negotiations and identify improvements to secure cost savings and improve quality and efficiency. An individual in this role would also be expected to mentor category specialists and establish benchmarks and expectations for category strategies.

• Develops and refines category sourcing strategy
• Conduct market and spend analysis
• Leads negotiations with key suppliers
• Aligns with BUs to collect requirements
• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with critical suppliers
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience:
  
  4+ years

• Master's Degree
