As a Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Specialist with Siemens Energy, you will join a team at a cutting‑edge investment casting facility. You will ensure peak performance of advanced vacuum furnace systems in high‑precision manufacturing, performing hands‑on troubleshooting, precision repairs, and collaborating with a safety‑focused team.

Location:
Gibsonton, Florida.
- Conduct routine inspections and mechanical maintenance on vacuum furnaces, including pumps, seals, valves, actuators, and structural components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues such as leaks, misalignments, and wear‑related failures, performing timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to improve furnace performance, reliability, and mechanical efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of mechanical inspections, repairs, and modifications, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and mechanical standards.
- Support Production Operations by providing mechanical support during furnace cycles, startup/shutdown procedures, and emergency situations.
- Evidence of an Associate’s degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field, plus 5 + years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with vacuum furnaces, thermal systems, or casting equipment is highly preferred, along with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and familiarity with vacuum systems.
- Proficiency in using precision tools, gauges, alignment instruments, and the ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics; excellent troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 10/30, forklift and overhead crane operation, or welding/brazing certification. Ability to drive root‑cause‑driven improvement processes and follow through on action items to completion.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and not require current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
- This position requires an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite, and the candidate must be able to work with export‑controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control law.
