Reliability Engineer (Full-Time, On Site)
SummaryThe Spear Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to support their client company's chemical manufacturing operations (fertilizers). This position is on site at their Florida location and focuses on increasing equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Liaison between Maintenance and Project Engineering.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) effectiveness validation.
- Monitor predictive maintenance programs.
- Assist in deploying the PDM condition based monitoring system.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisors and Planners with technical maintenance issues.
- Establishes maintenance best practices.
- Performs RCA/RCFA’s on contributors of yield, utilization, and capacity losses (attributed to equipment, processes, etc.).
- Identifies and resolves chronic failures.
- Establishes and monitors predictive maintenance program.
- Calculates asset life-cycle and costs.
- Performs criticality analysis and defines critical spares.
- Conducts asset risk/health analysis.
- Provides support to site’s Business Interruption/Loss Prevention programs.
- Mechanical Engineer or Chemical Engineer degree from an accredited university.
- Experience in fertilizer manufacturing, granulation processes, surface mining.
- Experience with piping, pressure vessel evaluations and failure analysis.
Compensation based on relevant experience.
