Traffic Engineer

We’re seeking a Traffic Engineer to support transportation planning, traffic engineering studies, and traffic-related design work. This role works closely with senior leadership and is ideal for an experienced transportation engineer who enjoys technical delivery, mentoring junior staff, and client interaction.

• Prepare transportation planning and traffic engineering studies
• Support senior leadership on traffic and transportation projects
• Perform transportation modeling and traffic analysis
• Develop traffic design concepts and plans
• Research agency standards, codes, and guidelines
• Collect and analyze field data
• Perform QA/QC reviews
• Coordinate with clients and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff

• BS in Civil Engineering (Transportation focus)
• 5+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience
• PE

• Micro Station and/or AutoCAD (basic to intermediate)
• MS Office (intermediate to advanced)
• Familiarity with traffic modeling and project management software

• Strong knowledge of MUTCD, AASHTO, ITE, and FDOT standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within teams
