This critical role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge battery augmentation projects from conception through execution, contributing to the advancement of clean energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead battery augmentation projects from planning through execution phases
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the organization
- Plan, design, and execute multiple energy storage augmentation projects simultaneously
- Provide engineering oversight and consulting to deliver best‑in‑class energy storage solutions
- Perform technical due diligence using internal and external data sources
- Solve complex integration challenges involving batteries of differing technologies
- Identify and apply lessons learned to optimize project outcomes
- Implement process countermeasures and standardize work practices
- Create tools to maximize performance and functionality of battery energy storage systems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
- 11-15 years of engineering experience, preferably in energy or utilities
- Experience with utility‑scale energy storage systems and battery technologies
- Strong project management and multi‑project coordination skills
- Proven problem‑solving abilities with complex technical systems
- Experience with renewable energy projects and grid integration
- Excellent analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Attention to detail and process improvement mindset
- Competitive hourly rate of up to up to $56/hour
- 12-month contract with potential for extension
