Qualificationsand responsibilities for this Civil-Structural-Geotechnical Engineer position include:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (ability to stamp plans in Florida preferred) – Stamp and submit engineered plans to municipalities
- Strong geotechnical expertise – Provide structural and geotechnical design solutions for retaining wall systems and site development
- Retaining wall design experience – Lead engineering for commercial retaining wall and erosion control projects
- Experience working with site developers and general contractors – Collaborate on new construction commercial developments
- Proficiency in CAD and Bluebeam – Oversee drafting work and review technical drawings
- Leadership ability – Supervise and guide an in-house drafter while serving as the company’s engineering authority
- Willingness to work primarily in-office with occasional site visits – Address field issues and provide technical support when needed
- Strong communication skills – Participate in vetting meetings and coordinate with internal teams and municipal agencies
$120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
