Act as a safety leader by following all safety rules, supporting safety programs, and ensuring contractors and equipment meet safety expectations
Identify customer needs, define project scope, and evaluate alternate solutions for technical, safety, and equipment‑related issues.
Prepare and assemble complete engineering project documentation, capital requests, drawings, scopes of work, and required approvals.
Manage project schedules, costs, purchasing activities, vendor coordination, and communication to ensure equipment and materials are delivered on time and to specification.
Assist maintenance departments in developing, evaluating, and editing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Physically assemble and configure equipment, ensuring it is securely fixed, properly aligned, and meets safety standards. Oversee the installation of mechanical and structural systems, including HVAC, plumbing, industrial machinery, auxiliary equipment, safety equipment including barricades
Create layouts and drawings using Solid Works / E Drawings.
Request capital project funds using the Cap Ex database.
Perform system testing, data validation, and quality checks to confirm the installations function correctly.
Participate in or lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, including developing work instructions, evaluating new technologies, and improving preventative/predictive maintenance programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, willing to consider candidates with applicable experience3+ years Project Engineering experience within a Manufacturing Environment (Packaging, or Plastics Manufacturing experience preferred).Design experience within Solid Works & eDrawings.
Experience with 3D printing is highly preferred.
Strong familiarity with Lean Manufacturing verbiage, process, tools, etc.
