* Provide engineering expertise in weapon systems design, development, and lifecycle management within the DoD acquisition process.
* Assist in armament program reviews to evaluate alternative plans, improve systems engineering processes, and maintain technical baselines.
* Support system-level testing to validate subsystem and overall system performance.
* Conduct trade studies to assess system performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and maintainability.
* Perform proposal analysis by evaluating system components for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
* Apply knowledge in systems security engineering, including:
* Platform Information Assurance (PIT) - Ensure secure integration of computing resources within weapons systems.
* Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) - Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to protect critical components.
* Information Assurance (IA) - Support IA processes and compliance with DoD policies.
* Anti-Tamper Engineering - Develop security measures to prevent unauthorized access to critical technologies.
* Apply knowledge in encryption technologies and compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
* Assist with weapons platform IT security and risk assessments for AFLCMC acquisition programs. Skills you will need...

Minimum Qualifications:

* Master's degree in a related discipline + 15 years of relevant experience plus an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* or PhD + 5 years of relevant experience plus an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* Active Secret security clearance (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a Master's in Software, Cybersecurity, or related field.
* Experience in weapons cybersecurity, anti-tamper measures, and DoD acquisition processes. #CJ #Florida Jobs
