The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Aerospace (Propulsion, Structures, Space Guidance, Navigation, and Controls) in Tallahassee.

Establish and maintain a robust externally funded research program, demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate and graduate courses, and participate in college and professional service.

Earned Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline; ability to create and sustain an internationally recognized research program; strong interest in engineering education.

Research grounded in mechanical & aerospace engineering such as Aerospace Propulsion, Aerospace Structures, Space Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC). Other areas of Aerospace Engineering considered if complementary to program strengths. This position is at the assistant level but well-qualified candidates may be considered for higher rank.
