You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of Turbocor compressor technology by building and improving the automated test systems that validate every unit. Your work directly supports product excellence, customer trust, and long-term system reliability. By connecting controls, data acquisition, and manufacturing systems, you’ll enable accurate, repeatable, and scalable testing across production and engineering validation. The systems you develop will influence how products are tested today—and how testing evolves tomorrow.

This is an onsite position at our facility in Tallahassee, Florida.
What You’ll Be Doing- Design, implement, and improve automated test systems that validate compressor performance with accuracy and repeatability.
- Develop and maintain PLC- and software‑based test control that drives reliable, efficient test execution.
- Integrate test equipment, data acquisition, and manufacturing systems to ensure trusted, usable test data
. - Analyze test results, cycle times, and system performance to increase throughput and equipment utilization
. - Support daily production testing and new product introductions by resolving issues and standardizing test processes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
, Mechanical Engineering
, Mechatronics
, or related technical field - 3–7 years of experience in test engineering
, controls
, or automation within a manufacturing environment - Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in LabVIEW for data acquisition and system control
- Familiarity with Ignition (SCADA/MES interface) or similar platforms
- Understanding of MES systems and manufacturing data integration workflows
- Knowledge of instrumentation
, sensors
, and data acquisition systems - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
, P&IDs
, and system diagrams - Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skills
- Experience in HVAC systems

, or thermodynamic testing - Knowledge of refrigerant systems and performance testing methodologies
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (
Profinet
, Modbus
, OPC‑UA
) - Experience with Python
, SQL
, or data analytics tools - Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement experience
