BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr.Systems Administrator position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. Consultant is required to reside (relocate) in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Florida if required.

Note: The staff augmentation consultants are required to be off theweek of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects.
• Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provide monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
• Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
• Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed.
• Develop project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.
• Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
• Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions.
• Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
• Manages change control within the projects.
• Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path.
• Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.

• 6+ years of experience in Configuration and Programming of Data Cap 9.1.3
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise level change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team.
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise level Web Application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with implementation projects with the following characteristics:
  • Multiple technologies and functions.
  • Experience working in state government.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.
• 6+ years of experience in Configuration and maintenance for File Net Image Services 4.2.0.
• 6+ years of experience in Power Shell Scripting.
• 6+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and configuration.
• 6+ years of experience in Network/Server performance monitoring.

Preferred:

• Experience with Project Management (Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools) is desired.
