We have an exciting opportunity for a TPSF Quality Engineer to join the JETSII contract.
The TPSF Quality Engineer will:
The Quality Engineer provides Quality assurance to support multiple programs at the Thermal Protection Systems Facility.
Responsibilities include:
* Establish/assess quality performance criteria in the execution of Program requirements Develop/establish/maintain processes and metrics that support contract and AS9100 (latest rev.) requirements.
* Contribute technically to tasks.
* Reviews work documents and procurement documents to ensure proper application of inspection requirements.
* Creates, updates and validates Acceptance Data Packs.
* Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
* Maintains statistical process controls.
* Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requisition
Qualifications:

* Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in the field or in a related area.
* Requires expertise in the area of Quality.
* Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills required.
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects without missing deadlines or sacrificing accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
* Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision
* Must be able to coordinate work between multiple project disciplines.
* Experience with manufacturing or operations a plus.
* Computer experience with Microsoft Office products, Internet browsers, and outlook.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
* Position may require daily individual to travel to different areas on site.
* Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand is required to access various locations on the facility.
* Climbing ladders and platforms may be necessary.
* All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and Company safety standards.
Physical Requirements
* Will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection and other associated personal protective equipment.
