Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Senior Inspector to support transportation and infrastructure projects located in Tallahassee, Florida.
Responsibilities- Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties, field inspections, audit duties, and maintaining inspection records.
- Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations; inspect construction work and conduct field tests.
- Coordinate and manage lower‑level inspectors.
- Perform work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
- Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Set and meet own project deadlines.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.
- Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
- Track quality assurance progress.
- Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
- High School Diploma plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- 4 years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges).
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection.
- FDOT Intermediate MOT.
- IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
- Nuclear Radiation Safety.
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.
- Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Relocation is not provided for this position.
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
- Offered compensation range: USD 30 – USD 45 per hour, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
