Position: Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater (PE) in Lake Helen
Location: Lake Helen

Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater

CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.

Hiring Bonus of up to $5,000 for the selected candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
  • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.
  • Lead design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment system components.
  • Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar platforms.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Critical thinking and good independent judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi‑task and work on multiple projects while adhering to schedules and budgets.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable, and self‑motivated.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental).
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles in pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment design.
  • P.E. license required.
