Job Description:
Develops, implements and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicates them to internal and external customers. Defines, develops and transfers manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems. Develops manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new processes. Estimates and tracks manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions:
- Designated factory process owner for torque tools, selective plating, label printers, automated inspection systems, among other processes.
- Lead development, optimization, and sustainment of manufacturing processes for complex products or assemblies
- Drive process improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase throughput
- Provide technical support to production for troubleshooting yield, equipment, and process issues
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing methods to support efficient production
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective action
- Collaborate with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations to ensure manufacturability and readiness for production
- Evaluate and justify capital equipment, automation, and factory layout improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across manufacturing projects
- Participate in capacity planning, line balancing, and labor efficiency improvements
- Support supplier manufacturing issues and help resolve producibility concerns
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Skills:
- Experience with (or understanding) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Experience managing production programs involving the build, integration and test of electronic and/or electromechanical systems
- Experience with SQL, Python and/or Microsoft Fabric development tools
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience in process development, process improvement, equipment selection, equipment validation and release for production
- Experience in working with cross functional teams
