Designer/CADD Technician
Dewberry has an opportunity for a Designer/CADD Technician to join our Civil/Land Development Group in our Port St. Joe, FL office and participate on the Civil Design team working with engineers, project managers, and other professionals. This position emphasizes design and plan set preparation of residential, multi‑family, and commercial projects. Work activities may include grading, pipe networks, alignments, profiles, sections, and redline drafting for conceptual, preliminary, final design drawings and performing site inspections.

- Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD Civil 3D engineering drawings that compile to create a set of permitable plans.
- Prepare designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams or schematics.
- Prepare working drawings from conceptual plan, to PSP or Development Plan, final engineering documents and construction record drawings.
- Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff and construction staff members.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with emphasis in land development projects.
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred to create surfaces, alignments and profiles but not required.
- Willingness to assist with a wide range of project tasks and work with multiple project managers.
- Strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering including land development, utilities, water resources, and construction.
- High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed.
- Willingness to perform site inspection for construction projects within our client service area.
