this position plays a pivotal role in supporting fdot’s mission by analyzing engineering system performance, resource allocations, and roadway performance data to inform management decisions. This position is responsible for developing, updating, and publishing key program and resource planning documents, including the district program and resource plans and five-year work program charts. By ensuring the integrity and reliability of program performance information, assisting with fund allocations, and managing predictive models for future trends, the role directly impacts the agency’s ability to optimize transportation resources and meet strategic objectives.

your specific responsibilitiesanalyze engineering system performance measurements and resource allocations and make recommendations to management concerning the following transportation engineering offices - roadway design and pavement management. Resolve discrepancies between associated databases to ensure integrity and reliability of program performance information. Ensure results are timely, accurate and meet the needs of users.
analyze roadway performance data and make recommendations to management based on the analysis for reporting to the executive board and in the program and resource plan.
develop and publish the district program and resource plans, advanced construction program and resource plans, and five year work program charts.
assist with assigned program area offices in the development of schedule a fund allocations, schedule b program targets and in balancing the program plan to available resources.
develop, update and manage models for predicting future program performance trends and characteristics.
produce and publish the program and resource plan document.
assist in maintaining the integrity of the program plan/work program/budget crosswalk regarding technical programming.
assist in applying statewide in-house (operating) levels to the program and resource plan.
update and publish schedule b program targets.
monitor and update the target analysis reporting system to ensure the projected levels are programmed properly and current information is loaded in the system at all times.
prepare graphic presentations for assigned program areas for management reporting.
assist in the evaluations, status reports and presentations on the program and resource plan performance.
work with work program staff in the central office and districts to ensure funding policies concerning roadway design and pavement management are appropriately being followed.
