Overview
Electronic Warfare Engineer, located in Sunny Northwest Florida. This role supports United States Air Force EW missions based at Eglin Air Force Base, with candidates for mid-level and experienced engineering positions. The work involves optimizing radar warning receivers, self-protection jamming systems, countermeasures, and advanced sensor capabilities to support combat aircrews during routine, urgent, and emergency operations.

Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Operational requirements:
Work with operational requirements staff to identify areas of responsibility and optimize EW system capabilities. - Analyze intelligence data:
Research multiple national-level intelligence databases to extract critical data in support of EW system programming and optimization. - Program threat simulations:
Program high-fidelity threat simulations to replicate adversary threat radar signals and flight scenarios in a laboratory environment. - Program/Optimize MD:
Program advanced EW receivers/sensors, design self-protection jamming techniques and countermeasures using specialized software tools. - Verify and Validate mission data:
Load updated EW software into hardware and verify system performance in a hardware-in-the-loop lab prior to fielding. - Distribute MD:
Write technical summary reports and distribute EW software to combat units globally for operations, testing, training, and exercises. - Operator feedback analysis:
Interact with operational aircrews to brief capabilities and limitations, gather feedback, and continuously optimize combat performance.
- Must be a US citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, physics, mathematics or related technical field or related experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Top-Secret/SCI security clearance

Entry: 0-3 years of experience
Mid level: 3-10 years of experience
Senior level: 10+ years of experience
