Position Overview
You will serve as a Utilities and Energy Management Branch Head at Public Works Department of NAVSUBASE KINGSBAY.

You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Please select one response that best describes how you meet the Selective Placement Factor (SPF) for a GS-0801-13, SUPERVISOR GENERAL ENGINEER.
NOTE:
You must submit a copy of your current license with your application package. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Setting priorities for all major maintenance projects, repairs, modifications, and improvements to utility systems;
- Overseeing the development of budgets, schedules, projects, and programs;
- Reviewing cost estimates and packages prepared by engineering staff for technical adequacy;
- Communicating technical requirements to contractors and/or in-house workforce;
- Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of difficulty and requirements of the assignments and capabilities of the employee;
- Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.
