We currently have a position as an Application Engineer, Sales Support (m/w/d), Ozone
- Oxidation Solutions – Water & Wastewater to be filled at our location in Herford.
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will take on a supporting role in the design and implementation of ozone oxidation and disinfection solutions for municipal and industrial applications. You will combine technical know-how with a good understanding of customer requirements and actively contribute to advancing sustainable water solutions worldwide.
- You develop and size ozone disinfection systems for national and international projects – from the initial technical planning to the creation of offers
- You support our sales teams and partners with technical and commercial questions and actively bring your know-how into customer conversations
- You present our solutions to customers on site and accompany projects in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- You analyze project developments, recognize risks early, and contribute to successful implementation
- You ensure a structured handover of won contracts to the order processing and project teams
- You review tender documents, identify deviations, and develop technical solutions
- You observe market trends and customer needs and bring impulses for the further development of our solutions
What you bring with you:
- Completed studies in engineering or a comparable qualification
- First experience in a technical or sales-related position in the field of water, environmental technology, or plant construction is advantageous
- Interest in technical products as well as a good commercial understanding
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working method
- Enjoyment of working with customers and international teams
- Secure handling of common IT systems (e.g., ERP/CRM, ideally SAP)
- Very good English skills in speech and writing
