Position Overview

The Trade Planner is a client‑focused role responsible for supporting daily trade operations, ensuring fulfillment accuracy, and maintaining compliance with all routing and shipping requirements. This position plays a key role in monitoring order activity, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The Trade Planner collaborates cross‑functionally with warehouse operations, customer service, and management to resolve issues, improve processes, and support overall account success at .

Monday – Friday 9AM – 6PM (4 days on‑site, 1 day WFH)

Key

Duties & Responsibilities Client Support & Issue Resolution
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and phone promptly and professionally.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve client issues, providing timely updates to management.
  • Manage escalated or critical client concerns, coordinating directly with warehouse teams when necessary.
Order Management & Fulfillment Support
  • Monitor, track, and upscale SLA performance across all fulfillment departments.
  • Provide daily status reports for all orders and shipments assigned to warehouses.
  • Ensure timely routing of orders and follow up on missed pickups or delayed shipments.
  • Process and route EDI orders through vendor portals.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Review and interpret routing guides, shipping manuals, and customer documentation.
  • Prepare required documents for new Trade/B2B customer onboarding.
  • Identify and elevate any compliance risks prior to shipments.
Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze fulfillment trends to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and support implementation of service and process enhancements.
  • Research customer chargebacks and disputes; provide documentation as needed.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, transportation, customer service, and IT teams.
  • Support special projects and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Serve as backup for team members when needed.
Data Entry & System Accuracy
  • Maintain accurate customer records and logs.
  • Ensure fulfillment, routing, and resolution details are updated in real time.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Trade, or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • E‑commerce and EDI experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to understand and apply detailed routing requirements.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work after hours when needed.
  • Detail‑oriented, dependable, and committed to accuracy and operational excellence.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3PL experience preferred.
