Job Summary
The Lot Attendant is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue and parking reports while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests during their entire stay. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles, upholding parking policy, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, staff and co‑workers; greet guests immediately using their last name when appropriate.
- Use proper phone etiquette and assist guests with directions and inquiries.
- Provide information about the surrounding area and main attractions as needed.
- Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements; safeguard customer financial and identifying information.
- Stack vehicles when required using Towne Park standards, secure keys, and retrieve stacked vehicles promptly and safely.
- Collect and reconcile revenue accurately, furnish receipts, categorize tickets for audit, and complete shift reports in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate equipment including register, gate, POS and credit card machines competently.
- Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged and update claims checks and guest folio archives.
- Produce guest vehicle inventory for billing purposes.
- Maintain security of customer financial and identifying information throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
- Customer service experience preferred; register/computer experience preferred.
- Ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
- Strong reading and writing skills in standard English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers up to three digits and the use of units of American money and weight measurement.
- Knowledge of 24‑hour and military time systems, and rates applicable to time passed.
- Effective presentation skills in one‑on‑one and small group interactions with guests, clients and employees.
Hourly base pay of $16 plus tips. 6‑hour shifts with both day and night hours. Employees may enroll in accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity and telemedicine insurance, and the company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment and number of hours worked.
