Imperial Pyro and Special Effects is a Florida-based live entertainment and special effects company specializing in fireworks, close proximity pyrotechnics, flame effects, cryo, fog, snow, confetti, cold sparks, and live event production support. Our clients include theme parks, motorsports venues, sports teams, theaters, resorts, municipalities, and live entertainment productions throughout the United States.

Imperial Pyro and Special Effects is seeking a dependable, hands-on Special Effects Technician to support warehouse operations, event preparation, live event production, and on-site special effects execution throughout Florida and beyond.

This is a long-term full-time opportunity for someone looking to grow within the entertainment and live event industry. This is not a gig-by-gig freelance position.

• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory, and equipment preparation
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production equipment
• Assist with setup and operation of fireworks and special effects systems
• Support live events, sports, motorsports, concerts, seasonal events, and productions
• Maintain equipment, tools, and operational readiness
• Travel to events throughout Florida and occasionally outside the state
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with crew members during setup, operation, and strike

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with physical labor and long work days when required
• Ability to adapt under pressure and work in fast-paced environments
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move equipment regularly
• Ability to pass a federal background check preferred
• Basic hand tool and power tool familiarity preferred

• Stagehand or touring experience
