Reports To:

General Manager

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis journey, educating them on product benefits and side effects, and ensures compliance with state regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Show empathy and compassion to patients.
  • Deliver Tru Experience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
  • Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and process patient orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
  • Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist customers with any product or device issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
  • Document customer issues and concerns on the customer’s profile.
  • Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.
Additional Responsibilities as Delivery Associate (as needed)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to fulfill delivery driver role.
  • Follow all Trulieve Policies and Procedures as delivery associate.
Additional Responsibilities as Online Support
  • Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
  • Prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
  • Must have prior cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels.
  • Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism; maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in conversational English and basic computer operation; understand safety procedures and use telecommunication devices.
  • Possess the mental and physical capacities necessary for the job duties.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record for delivery duties.
  • Pass a comprehensive background record check.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must have adequate vision and hearing (or use prosthetics) to meet position requirements.
  • Function independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
Physical Requirements
  • Constantly required to move or traverse throughout the facility, including confined spaces.
  • Operate and manipulate objects up to 50 lbs; lift, carry, or position up to 50 lbs.
  • Ascend/descend stool, ladder, or steps; crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl as needed.
  • Occasionally maintain a seated position.
Work Schedule
  • Flexible hours depending on store needs; must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Up to 25 hours per week; may work after hours based on business needs.
