Job Summary

Domino’s Pizza is looking for delivery drivers to safely transport food to customers. Drivers are paid an hourly wage plus daily cash from tips and mileage reimbursement. The role requires excellent customer service, accurate order handling, and a strong commitment to safety.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that passes regular safety inspections.
• Strong navigation skills – able to read maps, locate addresses and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
• Basic math skills and the ability to provide correct monetary change.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Motor coordination and eye‑hand coordination for handling orders and equipment.

Key duties include:

• Collect, load, and deliver orders to customers according to established routes.
• Operate the company vehicle safely, keeping it clean and maintaining inspection records.
• Assist in ordering, inventory, and daily store stocking as needed.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service at pickup and delivery points.
• Record and report any incidents, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management.

Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided upon hire.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person.

• Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with calculator use if necessary.
• Ability to give correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Typing skills for order entry on a keyboard or touchscreen.

Exposure to: Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, and exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to above 90°F.

Sensing: Use of hearing for telephone calls; near and mid‑range vision for most tasks; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking: Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb and stacking onto shelves up to 72 in.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), and trays of dough (≈12 lb per tray).
• Pushing and pulling: Trays on dollies may require up to 7.5 lb of force.
• Climbing: Infrequent stair or ladder navigation for maintenance tasks.
• Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting: Forward bending at the waist for remaining 30‑45 seconds at a time while stocking or assembling.
• Reaching: Continuous upper, lower, and forward reaching; occasionally above 72 in.

Hand tasks: Requires eye‑hand coordination, use of forearms and wrists for dough handling, and manipulation of pizza peel, cutting tools, and cardboard boxes.

Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids: Use of pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza‑handling tools.
