Solicitor mid level Banking and Finance

Responsibilities

• Responsible for varied, challenging and complex legal work on transactions that set the pace in the market.
• Work on a wide range of cross-border financing matters focusing on Asia, particularly China and Hong Kong.
• Handle a variety of lending transactions, including acquisition financing, pre-IPO financing, real estate financing, privatisation financing and general syndicated lending.
• Collaborate closely with David Lam, a leading practitioner and highly regarded partner in the banking and finance team.

• Mid-level solicitor with experience in a highly regarded banking team.
• Exposure to international clients and experience working with Chinese clients.
• Fluent bilingual language skills (Chinese/English).
• Excellent technical, analytical, communication and research skills.
• Strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability.
• Team focus to facilitate effective teamwork and strong internal relationships.
• Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities and to develop strategic relationships and networks.
• First‑rate experience drafting documents, willingness to be challenged, and a creative and lateral thinking approach.
