Job SummaryThis is an Operations Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program's (GTA), Taxpayer Services Process, Contact Center. The incumbent is responsible for aiding taxpayers via telephone and written correspondence concerning departmental billings and delinquencies and taking appropriate actions to resolve accounts. This often involves examination and updating of departmental or taxpayer records and may require additional taxpayer contact or other departmental personnel for final resolution.
The incumbent also provides accurate information and assists taxpayers or other Department specialists with inquiries regarding filing obligations and departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue's General Tax Administration Program.
- One year of experience researching, reviewing, and resolving complex Florida tax account issues utilizing master data and financial information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
- Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual (Spanish/English).
- The successful candidate will be required to answer a large volume of calls up to 7.5 hours a day.
The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,821.06 monthly/$45,852.72 annually.
