We're hiring a Divisional Controller to join County Materials in Astatula, FL.
Job Summary:The Divisional Controller will oversee and manage all financial activities across a multi-location manufacturing organization. This strategic leadership roleis responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control, and compliance. The Divisional Controller will work closely with regional managers,plantgeneralmanagers, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business objectives. This role requires strong analytical acumen, manufacturing cost accounting expertise, and the ability to drive financial performance across geographically dispersed facilities.
JobDuties & Responsibilities:
Month-End / Quarter-End Close:
- Preparation of month-end closing entries and reconciliations.
Will also include dailyand weekly activities/reports. - Review and analyze the plant results of the Manufacturing Operations for the assigned plant.
- Prepare Monthly Bridge Analysis comparing actual results to prior year, rolling forecast, and budget.
- Working with the operations management team,communicateanddevelopcorrective action plans to improve financial results.
- Prepare and analyze Product Cost structures; BOMs / Routers for new workflows, new products, and recasts of costing parameters for current products
- Helpin inventory control and maintenance
- Team with operations management to develop a monthly rolling forecast that isaccurateand efficiently developed by focusing onthe key financial drivers.
- Experience leading audits and implementing strong internal control systems.
- Review financial analysis support for capital projects.
- Audit financial and working capital returns of capital appropriationstodetermineif the financial and operating efficiencies were achieved.
- Plant Rationalization
- Assistin analyzing Customer & Product Profitability
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g.,Power BI, Tableau) is often preferred.
- Proven track recordin budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis in a manufacturing setting.
- Hands-on experience driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in manufacturing.
- Misc. Ad hoc reporting as requested by the executive leadership team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and organization skills
- Work is typically performed in an Office environment.
- Typical work hours/shifts:
Daytime office hours - Typically 7 am - 4 pm with some flexibility.
