Wealth Management Associate

Garry Executive Search has been retained by a well-established, independent RIA and multi-family office to recruit an Operations Associate for a growing back-office and client service function in its Florida location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, numbers-minded operations professional who wants to build a long-term career on a highly tenured, low-turnover team. This is a growth hire, created to add hands on deck as the office expands, not a backfill for someone who left.

The role works closely with a small, deeply experienced operations and client service team, handling cash reviews, reconciliation, distributions, billing, and client reporting, with room to take on more compliance and client-facing responsibility over time. The firm treats every hire as a long-term decision, and the shortest tenure on staff is roughly 11 years.

• Handle monthly cash reviews, investor activity monitoring, and month-end reconciliation
• Manage annual RMD handling and distributions processing, along with account tracking, billing, and client reporting support
• Support client onboarding and serve as a point of contact for routine client service needs
• Review fund-level reporting and support compliance work, with room to take on more over time
• Contribute to marketing content such as newsletters, Linked In, and email as a secondary function

• Highly detail-oriented with a numbers-minded, bookkeeper or accountant-like sense for cash flows, spreadsheets, distributions, and RMD work
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business helpful, though not required
• Self-sufficient and proactive once trained, a fast learner who retains training well
• Comfortable multitasking and handling interruptions while still managing detail-sensitive work carefully
• Curious and flexible, comfortable expanding responsibilities over time, with strong internal communication
• No licenses or registrations required
• Limited client-facing or sales expectations, some phone interaction but minimal face-to-face work
• Local to the Sarasota or Bradenton area preferred
• $75,000 to $95,000 base salary depending on experience, with flexibility up to $100,000 to $105,000 for a senior-level profile
