- Provide direction, guidance, and technical assistance for workforce programs, including developing and delivering training as needed.
- Research federal and state statutes, regulations, and other governing authorities; develop, review, and update programmatic policies, procedures, guidelines, and state/local plans.
- Evaluate the impact of statutes and regulations on operations, identify potential problems, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Assist agency management, program administrators, and staff with program management and operations.
- Consult with management on developing and implementing training and technical assistance to improve workforce program outcomes.
- Investigate, assess, and analyze issues presented by management staff; recommend solutions for programmatic operational problems.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews, prepare reports, follow up on concerns, update QA tools, and perform data validation during site reviews.
- Knowledge of methods for data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
- Ability to organize data into a logical format for presentation in reports and documents.
- Ability to utilize problem‑solving techniques.
Pre‑Employment Eligibility: Level 2 security background screening (fingerprinting and law‑enforcement record check) is required.
Minimum Requirements: Travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or four years of equivalent work experience relevant to this position.
- Experience providing direction, guidance, and technical assistance for workforce programs or other state/federal funded programs.
- Experience researching federal and state statutes, regulations, and governing authorities.
- Experience providing training to external audiences for a state or federally funded program.
- Direct experience with workforce programs such as SNAP E&T, Welfare Transition, and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
- Business writing experience in a professional or academic setting.
Pay: $42,776.88 – $55,000.00 Annually
