Data Review Specialist (Revenue Specialist II)

This is a Data Review Specialist - Revenue Specialist II position in the General Tax Administration Program's Return and Revenue Processing, Data Management Unit. The incumbent serves as the subject matter expert, maintaining knowledge of all processing procedures to manage the workflow efficiently and ensure timely distribution of tax data. The incumbent also promptly reports all entry and procedural errors and works Social Gui, Remittance Processing System (RPS), and Document Processing System (DPS) exception queues to ensure accuracy and compliance of processed data and timely distribution of taxes.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Three months of experience processing MEFs (Modernized Electronic Files) and Social Daemon within the Data Management Unit.
  • Experience editing or correcting tax documents within the Imaging Management System (IMS), Remittance Processing System (RPS), Document Processing System (DPS), or Fairfax IMS System.
  • Experience researching, updating, or creating taxpayers accounts using the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
Special Notes:
  • This position requires the incumbent to work eight hours a day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Salary:

The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,330.00 monthly/$39,960.00 annually.
