Job Title
Lead Joint Fires Exercise Planner
Job DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to lead joint fires exercise planner to plan, design, develop, execute, and assess AF-wide operational level-of-warfare command and control exercises and experiments supporting Component Major Command (C-MAJCOM) and Component Numbered Air Force (C-NAF) level programs to provide a realistic environment to train Joint Force Air Component Commanders (JFACC), Commander Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR), and Air Component staffs, other service commanders and staffs, joint, and coalition organizations.
Duties:
- Plans, organizes, and manages a wide range of complex activities involved in the AF-wide C-MAJCOM/C-NAF Air Component Exercise Program and other service's (Army, Navy, Marine Corps) Component exercise programs.
- Leads response cell during execution events to control the exercise injects and storylines to meet training requirements.
- Records training audience progress and performance to meet DoD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Air Force, C-MAJCOM, and service component training requirements.
- Monitors, evaluates, and actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
- Represents 505 CTS with a variety of command and functional area organizations.
