OPS Government Analyst

Overview

Operations Government Analyst I position supports the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program within the Florida Department of Health's Division of Community Health Promotion. The role involves evaluating local WIC operations through compliance monitoring, providing technical assistance to local agencies, conducting data analysis, and developing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to federal and state requirements. The incumbent will work as part of a team to improve program operations through on-site visits, desk reviews, and staff training.

• Proficiency with standard software programs and ability to compile, organize, and analyze data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present technical information to different audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, think critically, and implement corrective actions.
