Location: Tallahassee
The OPS Regulatory Specialist III works for the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, reviewing applications and determining eligibility for licenses, permits, and registrations related to alcoholic beverage and tobacco sales. This temporary position involves evaluating applications for compliance with Florida law, communicating with applicants and supervisors, maintaining licensing systems, and providing customer service regarding licensure requirements. The role is part of the Division's licensing bureau, which manages regulatory functions across the state.
Key qualifications:- Two years of customer service experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple issues
- Knowledge of and ability to apply applicable statutes, rules, policies, and procedures
- Experience with automated data records systems (preferred)
