Environmental Specialist III with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Division of State Lands, Land and Recreation Grants Section in Tallahassee. The role coordinates with federal and state agencies, manages grant applications and post-award administration, conducts research, and leads public participation and outreach efforts.
Keyqualifications
- Knowledge of community planning/development programs and program management, coordination, and evaluation techniques
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data and conduct fact-finding research
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently and lead assignments
- Valid driver's license required
- Must obtain Florida Certified Contract Manager certification within one year of appointment
