Government Operations Consultant II with the Department of Health's Bureau of WIC Program Services, responsible for evaluating and monitoring local WIC operations, providing technical assistance to local agencies, and coordinating compliance activities. The role involves on-site and desktop monitoring, data analysis, training coordination, and development of policies and procedures to ensure federal and state program requirements are met.
- Knowledge of WIC Program regulations, policies, and quality improvement principles
- Skill in standard software programs and ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences
- Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and implement corrective actions
- Experience in program planning, policy development, program implementation, and/or program evaluation
- Ability to work independently with high initiative and sound judgment
