this position's headquarters is located in leon county.

a high school diploma or its equivalent and four (4) years of experience as an environmental specialist i or higher with the state of florida;
or

a bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the physical or natural sciences, agriculture, or engineering and five (5) years of professional experience in environmental protection, regulation or health; one of the physical or natural sciences, agriculture, or engineering;

or

a master's degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university in one of the physical or natural sciences, agriculture, or engineering and four (4) years of professional experience as described above;

or

a doctorate (8 years) from an accredited college or university in one of the physical or natural sciences, agriculture or engineering and two (2) years of professional experience as described above.
