This position performs advanced-level work under the limited supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor for the Division of Florida Colleges, Department of Education. The position is responsible for providing direction and oversight for strategic, division-level programs, activities, and projects in coordination with division staff, other divisions within the agency, and staff from other agencies and entities, as appropriate. The position supports the successful completion of tasks and projects designed to improve educational outcomes for students in Florida colleges and across Florida’s K-20 education system.

Position works closely with the Director of Operations, Emergency Management, Safety and Security (OEMSS) and reports regularly to the Commissioner of Education, the Governor and the State Board of Education (SBE ).
