The Operations Review Specialist provides service delivery for the USDA Child Care Food Program, including evaluation and approval of contractor applications, technical assistance, and training. The incumbent will work in the Program Policy and Development Section at the Department of Health's central office in Tallahassee, exercising independent judgment on program compliance and eligibility determinations.
Key qualifications:
- Two years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work
- Knowledge of federal and state Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations, rules, requirements and procedures
- Ability to interpret federal and state regulations and procedures, analyze processes, and identify solutions
- Strong computer skills and use of standard software packages
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and establish effective working relationships
- Willingness to physically come to the office and travel to present information to contractors
