High school diploma or equivalent.

• One (1) or more years’ experience managing grants and/or contracts.
• Experience using a grant management software system or accounting/budgeting system.

• Ability to work independently organizing, planning, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in writing and obtain needed information for completion of projects.
• Ability to speak effectively and have skills dealing with customers and vendors.
• Ability to manage $1,000,000 fixed capital outlay grants.
• Ability to manage multiple single year grants.
• Ability to prepare the required contractual documentations for state grants.
• Ability to prepare methods of monitoring grantees progression.
• Ability to manage quarterly reports.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally.
• Ability to prepare grant reports for supervisor.
• Ability to review reimbursement requests for accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities under potentially stressful conditions.
• Ability to use Excel techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in handling multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to conduct fact-finding research and provide reports and analyses as required.

• Knowledge of Contract Management Life Cycle Guide.
• Knowledge of contract management process, terminology, program evaluation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Chapters 215 and 287, Florida Statutes, and policies and procedures related to contracts and grants.
• Knowledge in developing scopes of work, contractual agreements and contract procedures.
• Knowledge of developing, administering and monitoring contractual grant agreements.
