the office represents the state of florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the supreme court of the united states.

$44,152.38 annually

this grants specialist iii position is in the advocancy & grants unit within the division of victim services in tallahassee, florida.

• four (4) years of administrative experience in the areas of accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing or other related field; or
• a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

the incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• prepare technical review of grant applications to ensure compliance with the grant program.
• conduct on-site monitoring, desk audits and reviews for program compliance and prepares reports of findings and corrective action needed.
• review and recommend for approval change requests and invoices submitted by sugrantees.
• provide technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.
• monitor budget, expenditure and reporting requirements of subgrantees.
• assist in the development and implementation of grant management, including budget, expenditure, report and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
• prepare periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.
• complete special assignments and perform related duties as assigned
