The Government Operations Consultant II will provide technical assistance, training coordination, and program support for the USDA Child Care Food Program administered by the Florida Department of Health's Bureau of Child Care Food Programs. The role involves developing training materials, evaluating contractor applications, conducting outreach, and serving as a liaison between state staff and program operators. The position is based in Tallahassee and reports to the Operations and Management Program Manager.
Keyqualifications
- Four years of professional experience in training, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation
- Knowledge of federal and state Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations and child nutrition
- Ability to interpret regulations, analyze processes, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Skill in use of personal computers and standard software packages
- Willingness to travel and physically work in office to perform job duties
