OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT

Retina Health Center, part of US Eye, is looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant to work with ophthalmologists in diagnosing and treating patients.

We operate 55 clinics and 5 surgery centers across Florida, the Carolinas, and Virginia, with 109 providers and more than 1,200 team members system‑wide.

Retina Health Center offers advanced ophthalmology services in Fort Myers and Naples, Florida, specializing in retinas, macular degeneration, retina tears, and other retinal diseases since 2002.

An Ophthalmic Assistant performs eye‑related clinical functions, takes patient histories, performs procedures and tests, and prepares patients for physician evaluation to provide essential diagnostic information.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support a busy retinal practice
• Assist with patient procedures
• Perform ophthalmic tasks and diagnostic testing

• Previous experience in healthcare and/or customer service
• Team player with strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

• Full‑time position located in Fort Myers, FL
• Travel to both offices as necessary
