Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator to join our Sarasota, FL office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate appointment scheduling and a positive first impression of our organization.

- Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 6:00pm
- Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, reschedules, and cancellations
- Handle incoming calls and electronic scheduling requests with a patient-focused approach
- Verify patient information and appointment requirements
- Provide clear instructions on appointment prep, arrival times, and office policies
- Monitor cancellations, waitlists, and open slots to optimize provider availability
- Communicate schedule changes and urgent needs to clinical and admin teams
- Maintain accurate scheduling records in the HER
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow established workflows and customer service standards
- Assist with routine patient inquiries and elevate concerns as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR systems
- Experience in a multi-provider outpatient medical practice (Preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification (Preferred)
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Time management and organizational skills
